STIGMATA Updates
Psionic Weapon (Psion trait): This no longer requires a Basic-quality Weapon. It still must be a dagger, sword, or claw-like weapon of the Small or Medium-type.
Skill Updates
Resist Skills (e.g. Resist Blizzard, Resist Fear, etc): Monsters that use or have certain special attacks (Fear, Blizzard, etc) no longer inflict damage whenever to those that strike them in melee, unless the specific scenario calls for this or a specific ability (e.g Aura) allows this. Ultimately, this requires no change in behavior from Player Characters — it is simply an adjustment in verbiage to remove a monster type that does not exist.
General Updates
Bounties: This subsystem has been significantly changed.
Using Bounties to “buy” certain rewards now costs less Bounties. E.G. Cashing in 3 Bounties awards a Rare Component (formerly 5 or 6 Bounties = 1 Rare Component).
Expired Bounties can still be “cashed in”, up to a year after expiration.
Multi-Key Locks/Traps: We will be introducing a new kind of Lock/Trap. These devices can be opened/deactivated by a Basic Disarm. However, doing so has side effects. Greater and Superior Disarms will mitigate or even negate these side effects. For example, a Multi-Key Trap you might encounter might say the following:
Basic Disarm: You disarm this trap but you and all within step and arm’s reach receives “Master, 10 Flame”
Greater Disarm: You disarm this trap but you receive a “Master, 10 Flame” effect
Superior Disarm: You disarm this trap with no side effects
