Illustrados Zodiac

AKA The Celestial Auspices

The Cara, a spirit mask, is a spiritual tether to one’s own person, owing to the Illustrados’ ties to spirituality alongside their love of technology. Common belief among the Illustrados is that the Cara is also a reflection of a person, whether that person is akin to a specific spirit guide or the recipient of its blessings. Similar to the “horoscopy” and “astrologio” of the old world, superstitions and prejudices have sprung up based on these beliefs.

OOG note: This is by no means a requirement for Role-playing or a prescription for one’s character. It is simply a reflection of the Illustrados view on spirituality and its effects on one’s personalty. It can also be a tool for one’s character to follow or to rebel against.
